Pump & Process Solutions is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to join our team. This role will focus on growing the P&P business by defining, measuring, analyzing, improving, and controlling the activities within his/her defined geography and accounts. The territory for this position would include the state of Wyoming.

The Outside Sales Representative’s (OSR) main purpose is to grow sales of P&P products by defining, measuring, analyzing, improving and controlling the key activities that will lead to increased sales to end users, contractors and OEMs. The OSR will work to make Key Decision Makers aware of P&P’s products & their benefits and maintain & manage a network of manufacturers.  As part of the job, the OSR is responsible for developing, executing and maintaining a territory growth plan with the goal to increase P&P’s market share within the industrial market. Relocation for this position will be supported and qualified candidates must have authorization to work in the USA without support. 

What is the job about? 

  • Travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders or talks with customers by phone.
  • Develops, maintains, and executes a territory sales plan.
  • Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from newspapers, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet Web sites, and other sources.  
  • Maintains data relative to partners, accounts, and activities, and documents customer interactions.  Prepares reporting as needed.
  • Displays or demonstrates product, using samples or catalog, and emphasizes salable features.
  • Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.
  • Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of own firm’s production and delivery schedules.
  • Prepares reports of business transactions and keeps expense accounts.
  • Takes part in continued Education and Training programs and seminars, offered through and by manufacturers, to obtain and advance product, market and technical knowledge.

What do you need to apply? 

Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or business along with 0-2 years of experience in the pump industry.

  • Professional sales skills including key account strategies and plans.
  • Introductory knowledge of pumps and pumping systems, rotating equipment including electronically controlled pump systems.
  • Ability to develop and deliver effective product presentations for all sizes of audiences for both internal and external customers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent PC skills with above average knowledge and use of Microsoft Office application programs (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Good aptitude for learning and applying new systems and programs      
  • Must be able to travel up to 50%, if necessary, both domestically and internationally. Thus, candidates should be able to maintain valid identification

Denver Industrial is seeking an Order Coordinator to join our team. The Office Coordinator position is a multi-task role. The position would consist of working with several departments in our company.  Order entry for customer orders and vendor purchase orders; monitor inbound and outbound orders; accounts receivable and accounts payable; along with phone contact with customers, vendors and other related business partners. Relocation for this position will not be supported and qualified candidates must have authorization to work in the USA without support.  

What is the job about?

Order entry

  • Entering customer orders in our system from check list provided by the sales team and emailing acknowledgements to customer. 
  • Process purchase orders and emailing them to the vendor. 
  • Follow up on all Red/Blue orders to insure they are shipping as requested. 
  • Maintains open order reports:  Monitor incoming purchase orders and get tracking and advise sales team of delivery date changes.  Monitor outgoing sales orders and advise of delays to the sales team in order for them to notify customer.
  • Provides courteous and prompt responses to customer requests.
  • Advise customers on reschedules or issues concerning orders.
  • Work closely with Sales and Purchasing to follow through customer orders and requests.
  • Follow up with other departments as needed to monitor sales order status.

Accounts Receivable

  • Prepare invoices for customer, look up freight charges and verify taxes.
  • Assist in providing tax documents to sales team.
  • Quickly identify and resolve account issues using problem-solving and multitasking skills to meet department goals.

Accounts Payable

  • Match pack slips, enter invoices into payable system. 
  • Provide weekly and month-end accounts payable analysis.
  • Reconcile monthly statement from vendors.
  • Continually evaluate practices for process improvements.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Qualified candidates will possess an Associated degree (preferred) and/or a minimum of three years in a customer service environment.

  • Be responsible for responding to customer inquiries regarding company products and services. 
  • Process customer phone orders, check availability of stock, shipping dates, quote pricing, fill orders to customer specifications, process sales data via computer, and track stock levels.
  • Maintains data relative to partners, accounts, and activities, and documents customer interactions.  
  • Illustrates via technology (i.e. MS Teams, etc.) products and emphasizes salable features.
  • Prepares reports of business transactions and related report requests.
  • Takes part in continued education and training programs and seminars, offered through and by manufacturers, to obtain and advance product, market and technical knowledge.
  • Additional duties include assisting outside sales staff by preparing price quotes and sourcing product. 

What do you need to apply? 

Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or other technical disciplines or related degrees along with 2+ years of experience in pump inside sales/customer service.

  • Professional inside sales skills including the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to develop and deliver via the phone (and in person as required) effective product presentations for all customers.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication and data entry skills.
  • Excellent PC skills with above average knowledge and use of Microsoft Office application programs (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Good aptitude for learning and applying new systems and programs
